On April 17, 2023, OCC received sales records and shipment location(s) and date(s) of the generators affected by Cummins Onan Recall 23E030. This data was used to identify the scope of affected vehicles. On April 21, 2023, Forest Rivers Corporate Recall Committee was informed of the equipment recall and filed a 573 report for vehicles affected. On April 24, 2023, Forest River amended this recall to reflect the remedy program. May 2, 2023 – OCC found out that Galleria Class B Van RVs that were included in this recall originally are equipped with a 2.5KW Liquid Petroleum (“LP”) Generator. Per Cummins Onan, only 2800i Gas and 2800i EVAP are subject to Cummins Onan recall 23E030. OCC is removing all 344 Galleria vehicles as they are not affected. Additionally, OCC identified 3 Beyond vehicles, 4 Nova vehicles and 3 Sunseeker that were included in the initial scope of the recall, however, the Onan generators installed in these vehicles are serial numbers prior to the scope of Onan serial numbers provided by Cummins Onan as affected. OCC is removing those models from the scope of the recall. A grand total of 354 vehicles are being removed. The total USA count is 1,027 vehicles. Is directing dealers and owners to contact Cummins directly to have the generator(s) remedied. Generators must be remedied by Cummins, otherwise the warranty will be voided.
