IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 21V941 Dear This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Dennis Eagle Inc. has decided that certain Pro View Class 8 Vocational HHD truck (s) fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101; “Controls and Displays” and 125, “Warning Devices.” ➢ This Recall relates to the following VIN number (s): 1D92BGCB8HF and 1D92BGCB8HF The Recall is being performed to correct a potential issue with the ‘bulb warning light’ that is an integral part of the Instrument Cluster. It is possible that the warning light will illuminate telling the user that there is an issue with the vehicle light/lights not working even if all the lights are all working correctly. The false warning light could prevent the detection of an actual light failure, reducing visibility to other drivers and increasing the risk of a crash. To overcome this problem Dennis Eagle Inc has instituted a software change to the Instrument Cluster which will eradicate the problem described above. Your Dennis Eagle Dealer will implement the software update to the Instrument Cluster free of charge. Please contact your Dealer as soon as possible to arrange for this update to be carried out. The software updates will take approximately 1 hour to complete. Accordingly a Recall to address this issue is being initiated effective from January ……2022 The defect involves the ‘bulb warning light’ that is an integral part of the Instrument Cluster. The rework will involve updating the Actia Instrument Cluster software.
