The defect is due to porosity, contamination and carbon in the brass. This defect began to manifest in components sold starting in July 2021. RV OEM manufacturers reported a rise in warranty claims in Q3 2021, Q4 2021 and Q1 2022. Neither Enerco or FlexTech is aware of any thermal events or injuries arising out of this defect and does not believe that it presents a substantial risk of injury.
