Chronology :
On June 28 2022 DTNA received a report from a dealer of a potential discrepancy with the tire description on the Vehicle Information Label on four newly delivered buses. DTNA staff promptly began an investigation. DNTA staff reviewed build records to determine if any additional buses were built with the same discrepancy. DNTA also reviewed warranty records and field reports and found no similar issues. Once DTNA had sufficient information, on July 18 2022 DTNA decided to conduct a voluntary non-compliance recall on certain Thomas Built Buses Minotour SWR buses.
