Summary
Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance RV) is recalling certain 2023 Valor 21T15 travel trailers. The incorrect size wheel and tire assemblies were installed and may become overloaded.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the wheel and tire assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2023. Owners may contact Alliance RV customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

Alliance RV has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in some 2023 Alliance RVs. Units impacted are select Valor All Access Travel Trailers.
Our records show the following unit(s) are affected by this recall and is currently part of the inventory at your Dealership. The Recall Remedy must be completed on this unit prior to being sold.

Reason for this recall:
Alliance RV has determined that a number of Valor All Access Travel Trailers were manufactured that the incorrect size wheel and tire assemblies were installed and may become overloaded.
What Alliance RV will do:
Alliance RV will reimburse authorized service providers to perform the necessary repair. A total of 1.3hrs will be paid (.20hrs per wheel, .30hrs per spare and .20hrs per Federal Sticker).
What we need you to do:
Perform the wheel assembly and Federal Sticker replacement. This action of replacing must take place. The instructions provided with this letter will guide you through the appropriate action. A warranty claim can then be filed with Alliance RV.
Federal law requires that all units in your inventory be repaired prior to delivery to a customer. If you have sold a unit recently that you have received a stock recall notice on, please contact the owner immediately to advise of the recall. In addition, please register the unit by submitting the Warranty Registration information via the Alliance RV Dealer Portal (contact us at dealersupport@alliancerv.com if you need instructions on how to do so).

Tools Required
โข Impact Wrench โ ยฝโ drive (removal of wheels only) โ Deep socket ยพโ x ยฝโ drive
โข Torque Wrench โ ยฝโ drive (box end socket โ ยพโ)
โข Minimum 2โ long socket extension, ยฝโ drive
โข Wheel chocks
The remedy is to replace all 4 wheel assemblies on the RV, the spare tire mounted underneath the RV and the Federal
VIN Sticker on the side of the RV.
Instructions
1. With the RV in your service area, chock the wheels.
2. Using an appropriately rated floor jack (the jack should be placed under the main frame rail behind the rear spring hanger / running gear), lift this side of the RV slightly (just enough to take a little bit of weight off the wheel) so that you can loosen the lug nuts (only loosen lug nuts about half a turn, DO NOT remove lug nuts at this time).
3. Continue to raise the RV so that the wheel on this side of the RV is off the ground. Once in the air, utilize a jack stand to keep the RV in its fixed position with the tire off the ground. You can now remove your jack.
4. At this point move the jack to the frame rail just in front of the front spring hanger and raise slightly to take some pressure off this wheel and then repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. With both wheels off the ground and the RV safely supported with jack stands, you can now remove all lug nuts on this side of the RV.
6. Replace wheel assemblies with the correct assemblies.
1. Wipe down all lug nuts and lug nut seats. Start the lug nuts by hand.
2. Using the pattern and chart shown in Figures A and Figure B, tighten the lug nuts accordingly.
๏ง Torque Spec: 110-120 ft/lbs
7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for the other side of the RV.
8. Once the wheels and spare wheel have been replaced, replace the Federal Certification tag on the side of the RV.
Warranty Reimbursement Information:
Warranty claims should be submitted via the Alliance RV Dealer Portal under flat rate code 22V167. If a sublet is being used for the performance of the recall, a copy of the claim is required, and it should be submitted to service@alliancerv.com for review and processing.
The allotted time for the recall to be performed is 1.30hrs (.20hrs per wheel (x4), .30hrs for the spare and .20hrs for the federal tag to be replaced). Part return is not required.

Alliance RV has determined that a number of Valor Al l Access Travel Trailers were manufactured that the
incorrect size wheel and tire assemblies were installed and may become overloaded. Overloaded tires may fa il,
increasing the risk of injury.
What Al/lance RV WIii do:
Alliance RV will reimburse authorized service providers to perform the necessary repair to replace the incorrect
wheel and tire assemblies. In addition to the wheel assemblies, we will also be provid ing a new Federal VIN
Sticker that will also need to be replaced. This action will take approximately 1.3hrs and will be performed free
of charge.
What we need you to do:
Please contact an Alliance RV Authorized Service Provider and schedule an appointment to have this remedy
completed. If your dealer is unable to perform the recall within a reasonable time, or you have questions
concerning this recall, please contact 574-226-0140 – Option 1. If you choose to take your vehicle to a nonAlliance
RV dealer, they must contact Alliance RV prior to making the recall repair for proper authorization and
instructions.
Our records indicate that you are the current owner of this vehicle. If you no longer own this vehicle and have

A weekly report for quality assurance was generated and reviewed (system generated) on 3/13/2023 (capacities / weights / running gear are reviewed in this report). Review of this quality assurance report showed an issue with this particular model (tire ratings) which triggered an audit to take place for tire ratings on the 21T15. This audit / review of the tires on this model started the afternoon and wrapped up the following day (3/14/2023) . Upon review it was verified that the 21T15 had an underrated tire. There have not been any warranty claims, field or service reports or death or injury reports as the trigger was an internal quality assurance report. Description of Remedy :
Description of Remedy Program : The remedy will be to replace the existing wheels with new wheels that
are properly rated (including spare). This will also require a VIN / Fed Tag update to reflect the new wheels being put on the coach. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component :
Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The remedied component is properly rated vs. the underrated wheels that were used initially.
A new wheel has been identified and proven out as the correctly rated wheel. This wheel will now be ordered in place of the incorrect wheel and used on all production for the 21T15 Valor Travel Trailer as we move forward. Recall Schedule :
