The purpose of th is Recall Service Bulletin is to inform REV Recreation Group dealers of the need to inspect, and if necessary, replace the inside latch used on Lippert 920 and 3500 series entry doors on certain model year 2023 Fleetwood brand Bounder, Discovery, Discovery LXE, Flair, Flex, Fortis, Frontier, Frontier GTX, Pace Arrow and Southwind. Holiday Rambler
brand, Admiral, Armada, Ecl ipse, Endeavor, lnvicta, Nautica, Navigator and Vacationer. American Coach brand American Tradition. A list of affected motorhome serial numbers appears at the end of th is Bulletin.
CONDITION:
On some motorhomes affected by th is recall campaign, a defect has been found at the attachment point within the entry door latch supplied to Lippert. A defective entry door latch would not allow entry or exit via the door.
DEALER CORRECTIVE ACTION:
Follow the attached Lippert repair bulletin to inspect and if defective, replace the inside door latch assembly.
Chronology :
Please Reference Lippert’s 23E-008 Part 573 Safety Recall Report
Lippert determined an issue which relates to motor vehicle safety may exist in certain entry doors for motorized RV product built with Global Link Motorized Rotary Latch MRL-41210-2006.
Lippert informed Rev Recreation Group on 2/23/2023 of their decision to file equipment recall 23E-008 with NHTSA. Lippert
supplied REV Recreation Group with a list of purchase orders that contained shipments of doors supplied with suspect latches. REV Recreation Group began an investigation into potential products and scope of the issue. Extensive cross matching occurred as part of this analysis.
REV compiled a list of affected vehicles and on 03.14.23 filed Part 573 Safety Recall Report

Preliminary procedures for inside latch assembly part replacement
NOTE: When possible, all repairs should utilize the replacement of the inside latch assembly rather
than the complete latch assembly. This preferred procedure is outlined first.
Inside Latch Assembly Part To Be Replaced
This section of document refers to the replacement of the inside latch assembly of the complete door lock
assembly with latch on certain motorized entry doors. A portion of the latch is breaking off when attempting
to exit the coach. The instructions are applicable to using a replacement inside latch assembly
PN 2023005033 for the 920 Series door and inside latch assembly PN 2022010407 for the 3500 Series door.
NOTE: Check first for an “INSPECTED LATCH” sticker on the inside of the door frame between the hinges
(Fig. 12). If it is present, report back to the OEM that the VIN has already been addressed.
Safety
This document provides general instructions. Many variables can change the circumstances of any
procedure, i.e. the degree of difficulty involved in the service operation and the ability level of the individual
performing the operation. This document cannot begin to plot out procedures for every possibility, but will
provide the general instructions for effectively installing, removing or servicing the system. In the event the skill
level required is too advanced or the procedure too difficult, a certified technician should be consulted before
performing the necessary operation. Failure to correctly install, remove or service the system may result in
voiding the warranty, inflicting injury or even death.

Dealer Notification Letter NHTSA Recall #23V166
Recall Campaign #230224REV Transport Canada Recall #2023-156
We are notifying the owners of the affected units in order to correct the problem. Copies of the letters sent to owners of record are attached for your information
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
On motorhomes affected by this recall campaign, a defect has been found at the attachment point within the entry door latch supplied to Lippert. A specific attachment point was inadvertently weakened when the vendor implemented an improvement to create a more secure attachment groove for the retaining ring in the handle design of the latch. A defective entry door latch would not allow entry or exit via the door.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Owners of the above-mentioned motorhomes have been asked to contact an authorized REV Recreation Group dealer to have the described defect remedied. In the event that you are contacted by a customer, please verify eligibility by referring to the serial number range listed in the attached Recall Service Bulletin #230224REV prior to beginning repairs. Contact REV RV Technical Support at (800) 816-9825 for authorization, and REV RV Parts at (800) 509-3417 to order replacement parts.
Once repairs have been completed according to Recall Service Bulletin #230224REV, have the customer sign your dealership’s Internal Repair Order. Warranty labor claims are to be submitted electronically to REV Recreation Group. Customers will not be charged for these repairs.
If you have one of these vehicles in your inventory, you will be mailed a Safety Recall Notice for that specific motorhome. REV Recreation Group dealers are required to make repairs to stock units on dealer lots prior to sale or lease.
Federal Law (Section 154 of the National Highway Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act) of 1966 requires that: If you have received a notice of recall or failure to comply from REV Recreation Group, Inc. or any component manufacturer, you must repair or otherwise correct the defect on vehicles remaining in your inventory according to the notification before selling or leasing the vehicles. Any vehicle lessor receiving this recall notice must forward a copy of the notice to the lessee within ten days.
Please carefully review this entire package with your parts and service staff to familiarize them with the step-by-step procedure and implement the Voluntary Recall Campaign.
Thank you for helping REV Recreation Group with its continuing efforts to maintain customer satisfaction. If you have any questions, please contact your REV Recreation Group Service Center.
Sincerely,
