Summary
Textron Specialized Vehicles (Textron) is recalling certain 2024 Cushman Hauler Pro LSV vehicles equipped with the triple battery pack configuration. The dump bed latch may contact the top high voltage battery, cracking or puncturing the case.
Remedy
Dealers will install a bracket shift kit, inspect, and replace battery packs as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by May 12, 2024. Owners may contact Textron customer service at 1-706-799-4768. Textron’s number for this recall FSB01-24.

Chronology :
As a result of inspections occurring in November of 2023 related to NHTSA recall 23V817 (Textron Specialized Vehicles FSB03-23) damage was observed to the battery packs on triple pack Haulers not consistent with the field service bulletin. Through investigation our engineering department conducted a CAD study and confirmed an interference can exist.
This information was relayed to the TSV Product Safety Review Board in late February 2024 and the decision to perform a recall was made. Affected units and ownership status was determined in March of 2023.

Affected units and ownership status was determined in March of 2023.
Description of Remedy :
Description of Remedy Program : To correct this issue we will be conducting a field service bulletin
campaign, FSB01-24, to inspect all triple pack Hauler Pro LSV’s for cracking/punctures and replacing the existing brackets with a bracket kit that shifts the battery packs to eliminate the interference. Battery packs will be replaced as necessary if such damage is found. Customers will be notified and instructed to take their unit to an E-Z-GO dealer for the recall at no cost. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The existing brackets on the vehicle are to be replaced with the Hauler Pro tray bracket shift kit (pn:10076059) called out in the field service bulletin FSB01-24. This kit contains 3 brackets; Front mounting bracket (pn:10072475), LH mounting bracket (pn:10072514G01), and RH mounting bracket (pn:10072514G02).
The assembly line started building products with the updated bracket kit on 02/23/2024. Recall Schedule :
