Summary
Gillig LLC (Gillig) is recalling certain Transpec T287X Series glass roof hatches sold as aftermarket parts. Temperature and vibration stresses may cause the tempered glass roof hatch to shatter.
Remedy
Gillig will notify owners, and the glass hatch manufacturer will provide replacement hatch lids. The recall began July 26, 2019. Owners may contact Specialty customer service at 1-800-951-7867 or Gillig at 1-510-264-5073 or 1-800-735-1500.
