Hitch Bolts Improperly Tightened
If the bolts loosen, a towed trailer or vehicle could detach from the motorhome, increasing the risk of a crash.

Summary
MORryde International, Inc. (MORryde) is recalling certain 2020 Forest River Georgetown and FR3 motorhomes that they modified. The trailer hitch bolts may have been improperly tightened, which can cause the hitch bolts to loosen.
Remedy
Forest River will notify owners, and Forest River dealers will properly tighten the bolts, free of charge. The recall began December 9, 2019. Owners may contact MORryde customer service at 1-574-293-1581.

This letter is to make you aware of a recall we are issuing for units that had hitches installed at MORryde between 8/9/2019 – 11/22/2019. The beginning date may change as we’re still investigating but these are the known dates at this time. It’s been brought to our attention that the bolts securing the hitch to the chassis could be potentially under-torqued causing the hitch to separate from the chassis. MORryde made an internal change with equipment on 11/22/2019 so all units from that date going forward should be good.
Due to the potential safety risk, MORryde is issuing a safety recall. Though we’re not aware of any safety related issues currently, we’re erring on the side of safety for our customers.
