REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS KZ RECALL NHTSA 21V‐992 Transport Canada 2021‐780 Internal KZ‐2021‐08 211MKSE Gas Line Relocation The vehicles subject to this recall were manufactured with the LP gas line routed through the wheel well in too close proximity to the tire tread path. Inspect the LP gas line in the wheel well as shown below. If the gas line is less than 12” from the tire tread it must be relocated as described below. KZ Flat Rate Code‐ #7782‐C211MKSE Time allotted‐ 1 hr. 1. Open slide, remove original screw from existing spring. 2. Re‐secure the spring to the frame, making sure to be 12″ from tread of tire.

The vehicles subject to this recall were built with a propane line that is too close to a tire. The line could become damaged by debris which results in a gas leak that could result in a fire or explosion resulting in personal injury or death. This repair will be done at no cost to you. The remedy is to reroute the propane line away from the path of the tire. The repair should take approximately 1 hour to complete. You should contact your selling dealer immediately to schedule a service appointment to have the defect repaired in your vehicle. LP line is too close to the tire tread path. 12/10/2021 – Production receives information and checks production units and yard inventory units. Production finds additional units in yard inventory. A hold is placed on yard inventory. 12/13/2021 – Inspection of yard inventory is completed. Defect is specific to the C211MKSE. A search is done for additional C211MKSE units produced. 12/14/2021 – Additional units are found at transport lots and repaired. it is determined there are affected units which have been shipped. 12/15/2021 – A safety committee meeting is held where a determination is made to issue a recall. Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : Rerouting the propane supply lines. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : NR Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The path of the propane lines has been rerouted away from the wheel well.
