INSTRUCTIONS TO PERFORM RECALL CAMPAIGN 167 ___________________________________________________________________ Instructions to perform Recall Campaign 167 – Pg.1 Models Affected: Certain Model Year Winnebago Certain 2021-2022 Inspire (Y34AE) Motorhomes. These motorhomes were manufactured from May 17, 2021, through November 23, 2021. Tools Required: • Screw gun • Tape measure • Silicone Procedure: 1. Remove screws that attach the two ¾” step supports. Discard screws and step support sticks . 2. Using silicone fill the open screw holes left after removing the ¾” step support sticks. 3. Open recall kit RC7652-22-767 containing 2 – 1 ½” support sticks and the 6 fasteners. Instructions to perform Recall Campaign 152 – Pg.2 4. Locate the 1 ½” support sticks from the kit, 2 ¼” from the top of the floor ( see photo below). Ensure the chamfer edge of stick points towards the door opening. 5. Use the fasteners provided in kit and screw it in place. Repeat procedure on the for the other side. 6. After installation ensure the step overlaps the support sticks (see photo below) 7. Completed warranty reimbursement claim and send in.

These motor homes were manufactured May 17, 2021 through November 23, 2021. The step support may be undersized to properly support the step. If there is not enough overlap between the step and support a person stepping onto the step cover could unexpectedly fall in the step well increasing the risk of an injury. WHAT WE WILL DO Winnebago will replace your current step supports with properly sized supports. This will be at no charge to you. WHAT YOU SHOULD DO Do not use the step cover until you have this recall completed. Please contact your Winnebago motorhome dealer immediately to arrange for an appointment. The labor time necessary to perform this correction will be approximately 1 hour. Please allow additional time for the dealer to process your vehicle Winnebago Motorhome dealers are best equipped to obtain parts and provide service to ensure your vehicle is corrected as promptly as possible.
