Summary
Pleasant Valley Teardrop Trailers, LLC. (Pleasant Valley) is recalling certain 2023 Teardrop TAB 320s and TAB 320CSS travel trailers, equipped with certain SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops with part numbers 3031AST and 3032AST. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.
Remedy
Dealers will install a bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 10, 2023. Owners may contact Pleasant Valley customer service at 1-330-852-4811 ext. Pleasant Valley’s number for this recall is 23E-002.

has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in SDS2 – 2 Burner cooktops that were installed in recreational vehicles. The internal aluminum burner tubes connecting the gas valves to the cook top burners can fracture from excessive vibration or shock experienced in recreational vehicles. The burner tube could crack resulting a leak of propane when the top burner gas valve is opened to use the appliance. If ignited the propane could result in a fire and/or explosion which could result in personal injury.
