Palazzo lower front cap brackets
Issue:
It has been discovered that on certain model year 2015 โ 2023 Palazzo motorhomes that the lower front cap brackets may become loose and have the potential to fall off.
Instructions:
1. Inspect under the front of the motorhome to determine if one or both of the lower cap brackets are loose and/or missing. Reference print below for the location of the bracket. Bracket is identified by the 15 found on the print.
2. If the brackets are both still connected to the motorhome, ensure that the hardware used for installation matches the fasteners listed above under parts. Change out fasteners with proper hardware listed above if needed. Once that has been completed the recall has be finished, only continue on to step 3 if there was one or both brackets missing from the motorhome.
3. If one or both brackets are missing place an order for the above part. Make sure to order one or two brackets depending on what the motorhome requires.
4. The new bracket does not match the old style bracket that may be on the motorhome. This new bracket is a slide in tube style bracket and serves the same function as the original bracket.
5. Install the new style bracket by screwing the 3/8โ lag into the firewall and extending the bracket to where it needs to be installed on the underside of the cap using the #10 x 1โ panhead wood screw.
