Remove the 4 square drive screws from the plastic cover to reveal the regulator (s) Inspect for leaks for at least 1 minute reapplying Cal Blu as necessary. Turn Off Propane Supply. Ignite the cooktop to burn off any propane in the lines Remove the 4 screws holding the regulator to the bracket. Remount the regulator plastic cover and reinstall the bracket to the chassis. Torque securement nuts and bolts to 20ft.lbs Use the 19mm and 5/8″ wrenches to disconnect the hoses from the brass fittings on the regulator. Record the lot number stamped into the back housing of the failing regulator to report back to Leisure Travel Vans. Record the lot number of the replacement regulator lot number to report back Leisure Travel Vans. May be different than is shown. Triple E Recreational Vehicles has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2023 Unity motorhomes (U24CB, U24FX, U24MB, U24MBL, U24RL, U24TB) and 2023 Wonder motorhomes (W24RL & W24RTB) manufactured between November 17, 2022 and April 27, 2023 Description of Defect: The Marshall 2-stage regulator with certain lot #’s (K0722 & Kl 822) may leak propane at the rolled crimp connection. The high-pressure side of the regulator is not correctly crimped leading to the high-pressure of the propane tank getting around the body to face seal. In the event a regulator leaks propane and a spark could ignite a fire and cause bodily llljury. To Have This Modification Performed: We request your assistance to have the safety issue corrected. Follow SOP10585 included in this mailing. Contact your selling dealer or an RV service center to perform an LP leak test. If the test indicates there is an LP leak the regulator will be replaced at no charge to you. The leak test may take about 25 minutes and the replacement of the regulator about 25 minutes. Some units have 2 regulators, it may take longer than the indicated time. If you choose to have this Recall performed by a service center other than your dealer, prior authorization is required. RETAIL OWNERS WILL BE SENT A LETTER ASKING TO CONFIRM THE LOT # OF THE REGULATOR ON THEIR MOTORHOME AND TO CONTACT THEIR SELLING DEALER OR AN RV SERVICE CENTER TO HAVE AN LP LEAK TEST PERFORMED AND REPLACE THE REGULATOR IF IT IS AFFECTED. IF THE REGULATOR PASSES NO ACTION IS REQUIRED. THE DEALER WILL CLAIM REIMBURSEMENT ON A WARRANTY APPLICATION FORM. THE RV SERVICE CENTER OR RETAIL OWNER WILL BE PAID DIRECTLY BY TRIPLE E RV. A RV SERVICE CENTER OR RETAIL OWNER WILL BE REIMBURSED FOR COSTS INCURRED FOR REPAIR PRIOR TO THE RECALL NOTIFICATION. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : THE NEWLY INSTALLED REGULATOR WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT LOT # AND THE CRIMP ON THE HIGH PRESSURE SIDE WILL BE CORRECTLY DONE COMPARED TO THE REGULATORS THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THE RECALL.
