Summary
Quality Vans (Quality Vans) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Ford
Transit vans equipped with Onan
QG 2800i EVAP generators, part number 2.8HGLAA-8303A. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may not be properly secured, which can cause a gas leak.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2023. Owners may contact Quality Vans customer service at 1-480-464-7007.

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Quality Vans has decided, based on information provided by Cummins
, that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2020-2023 Ford
Transit vans equipped with Onan
QG 2800i and QG2800i EVAP generators that were manufactured between March 3, 2020 and January 31, 2023. Our records indicate that the generator installed on your vehicle may be one of the units affected.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may not be properly secured, which can cause a gas leak.
CONSEQUENCE
A gasoline leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Contact the nearest Cummins
Distributor or authorized Warranty Dealer to arrange to have this campaign performed on your generator. Cummins
will replace the fuel hose and clamps as necessary, free of charge. The distributor or dealer will work with you to schedule the best date to complete this repair. The repair is expected to take 2 hours to complete.

In the meantime, if you see or smell gasoline leaking from the generator, you should immediately stop the generator and discontinue its use until necessary repairs are completed.

Power Generation notified our company that certain serial numbers had a concern with the fuel line system. The number of effected generators that were sold to QVSV by the vendor was 10.
