Summary
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Jayco Solstice LI, Swift, Terrain, Terrain LE, Entegra Coach Ethos LI, Expanse LI, Launch LE motorhomes. The battery relay contactors may become stuck in the closed position.
Remedy
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 21, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903603.

Description of the Defect : Renogy reported in their equipment recall 24E-005 that battery relay activation, protection, and recovery logic do not fully safeguard the battery from being engaged in a negative feedback loop that exasperates relay mechanical life. This condition may result in stuck relay contactors.

Description of Remedy Program : Renogy reported in their equipment recall 24E-005 that Renogy is
currently developing the remedy for the recalled units.
This repair will be performed at no charge. Jayco Inc. will file completion reports. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component :
Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : This will be determined once the remedy is established. Jayco purchases the affected battery pack from Patrick Distribution who obtains it from Renogy. On February 28, 2024 Patrick Distribution informed Jayco that stock was quarantined and all shipments were put on hold until a remedy is determined and stock is remedied.
