Dear Dealers,
Reports have been received identifying the incorrect installation of the front mudguard extension during the pre-delivery phase of the above-indicated models (excluding Enduro and Multistrada 950).
Caution:
If the brake hose that connects the two front brake calipers is not installed correctly and fixed to the mudguard, the mudguard may touch the tire
When installing the front mudguard extension part no. 56410801B, follow the instructions provided below and in the workshop manual exactly. It is also important to inform Customers that the installation of such component must be performed exclusively at a Ducati Service workshop.
NOTE
Front mudguard extension part no. 56410801B cannot bet installed on models equipped with carbon mudguard (version Pikes Peak or Ducati Performance accessory).

Installation Instructions
1. Remove the button tie (1) L.62 mm
2. Remove the 2 screws M5x14 (2) securing bracket (3) to the front mudguard
3. Fit the front mudguard extension (4) aiming front brake caliper hoses as shown in the figure

NOTE
Make sure that the 2 tabs (5) of front mudguard extension are positioned between the tabs (6) of the front mudguard.
4. Tighten the 2 screws M5x14 (2) to 3.5 Nm ± 10%.

NOTE
Make sure that front mudguard profiles are aligned as shown in the figure.
NOTE
Check that the distance between front tire and front mudguard extension (4) is equal to 10 mm.

The Enduro and Multistrada 950 versions are produced with the front mudguard extension already installed.
The images below define the positioning of the hose (1) that connects the front brake calipers.
