When servicing Bendix^® air disc brakes be sure to observe the following guidelines:

The Bendix^® ADB22X^™ and ADB22X^™-LT caliper/carrier assemblies can be replaced with the complete Bendix^® ADB22X^™-LT caliper/carrier assembly for trailer applications with a T18 max chamber size.
Bendix ADB22X and ADB22X-LT calipers and carriers can only be replaced with like model components. Calipers and carriers cannot be mixed and matched from one model to another. An ADB22X caliper installed on an ADB22X-LT carrier will result in a large gap between the caliper and the carrier. Conversely, an ADB22X-LT caliper cannot be installed on an ADB22X carrier. If replacing an ADB22X caliper/carrier assembly on a trailer axle with an ADB22X-LT caliper/carrier assembly, the pads on the opposing wheel end brake assembly must be replaced with Bendix^® BX276^™ pads to match the pads on the ADB22X-LT. Replacing the pads provides equal thickness and friction material properties across the axle. Note that the BX276 pads have cast backing plates.
