Summary
Roadtrek Inc. (Roadtrek) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Zion, Zion SRT, Play, and Slumber vehicles. An incorrect gas detector that is missing the carbon monoxide alarm may have been installed.
Remedy
Roadtrek will ship owners a carbon monoxide detector to mount to their vehicle, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 29, 2021. Owners may contact Roadtrek customer service at 1-519-745-1160. Roadtrek’s number for this recall is 2021-02.

RE: Notice of Recall: NHTSA 21V477 Incorrect CO/LP Detector
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Roadtrek Inc. is recalling certain model year 2020 to 2021 Roadtrek Zion, Zion SRT, Play and Slumber models built on the Dodge
RAM ProMaster Chassis and SS Agile model built on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis manufactured from September 1, 2020, through February 26, 2021. A small number of the incorrect model CO/LP detectors were installed on shipped vehicles. The incorrect detector is marked as “Safe-T-Alert RV Propane Alarm” rather than the correct detector which is marked “Safe-T-Alert RV Carbon Monoxide / Propane Gas Detector”.
If you are receiving this notice, your vehicle was manufactured in the time frame of the installation of the incorrect CO/LP detectors. You are asked to inspect the CO/LP detector installed in their vehicle and to fill out the attached Corrective Action Completion form and send it to Roadtrek Inc. If you have the “Safe-T-Alert RV Propane Alarm” in your vehicle, Roadtrek Inc. will ship you an additional Carbon Monoxide detector at no cost for you to install in your vehicle.
If you no longer own the vehicle, please inform Roadtrek Inc., of the new owner online at [email protected].
Federal regulations required that any vehicle lessor receving this call notice must forward a copy of this notice to the lessee whithin 10 days.
