Summary
Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling one 2022 G5 transit bus. During wheel alignment, the alignment ring was installed at an incorrect angle, which can cause the wheels to become misaligned.
Remedy
A dealer will re-align the wheels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 3, 2021. Owners may contact Micro Bird’s customer service at 1-819-477-2012. Micro Bird’s number for this recall is 21-088-AUC.

Chronology :
During routine inspection of a vehicle on September 20, 2021, it was observed that an alignment ring was missing.
In the following days, investigation of other vehicles still at our facilities revealed that the ring had been installed at a wrong angle. It also helped to determine that this defect was limited to a certain period of production; all undelivered vehicles have been re-aligned.
It was decided on September 27, 2021 to recall the vehicles aligned during the identified period, that have already been delivered.
No claim was received concerning this default. No accident, injury or death linked to this default has been reported
