Fuel Tubes May Crack and Leak Fuel

Tenco Inc. (Tenco) is recalling one TOR DR-106100 highway carrier
equipped with a Cummins
X12 diesel engine. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injectors for cylinders four, five, and six may fatigue and crack, which can result in a high pressure fuel leak.
Remedy
On engines with 75 miles or less, dealers will install vibration isolators to the fuel tubes. Engines with more than 75 miles will receive new fuel tubes with vibration isolators, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 14, 2022. Owners may contact Tenco’s customer service at 1-450-388-1328.

3 December 2021 – Cummins
have contacted us regrading a campaign regarding a fuel tube between the fuel rail and the injector for cylinder 4, 5 and 6 on X12 engine. 9 December 2021 – Tenco have supplied the coordinate of our customer that have delivered an X12 engine concern by this campaign. 2 March 2022 – The recall #22V-108 was create by the NHTSA. To date, there have been no report of injuries due to this condition.

has released field Safety Campaign #C2532, X12 CM2350 X119B and X12 CM2450 X137B Fuel Injector Supply Line Safety Campaign to correct this condition by replacing the fuel tube s with new fuel tubes and installing vibration isolator for cylinder 4, 5 and 6. Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : The subject fuel tubes for cylinder 4, 5 and 6 (the rear half of the engine) will be replace with new fuel tubes (having the same part number as the recalled components) and vibration isolator will be added to the fuel tubes to engines. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : The replacement fuel tubes will also have vibration isolators. The fuel tube and vibration isolator combination will have a new part number. Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : Only one unit was produced, and no other unit are in production. Cummins
