Cruiser RV (Cruiser) has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2022 Cruiser Shadow Cruiser Travel Trailers manufactured in 2022. We apologize for any inconvenience this action may cause you, however your safety and continued satisfaction are of the utmost importance to us. On certain 2022 Cruiser Shadow Cruiser Travel Trailers, the required 12v mini breaker cover for the slide out was not installed during production. This has led to exposed studs that could cause arcing. Exposed studs on the mini breaker can be touched by the aluminum ducting in the area. This could cause arcing and lead to an increased risk of fire and personal injury. Cruiser will have an authorized dealer or repair center inspect the 12 volt mini breaker for the slide out. If found missing, the dealer will cap the mini breaker with the proper cap. This repair should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. This defect will be corrected at no expense to you, the owner. All Reimbursements will be covered by Heartland’s general reimbursement plan. At your earliest convenience, Please contact your local dealer to set up an appointment to have this inspected and if needed corrected immediately, this service will be performed free of charge. If you had appropriate repairs completed prior to receipt of this recall notice, and if you incurred any direct cost in connection with obtaining such repair, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement from CRV by contacting the CRV Warranty/Service Department. We have had zero warranty claims and zero personal injuries or property damage. Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : Cruiser will have an authorized dealer or repair center inspect the 12-volt mini breaker for the slide-out.
