Chronology :
In March 2022, McNeilus
implemented an updated vehicle inspection process for end of the line vehicle inspection. As part of this updated process, McNeilus
identified that certain vehicles did not have all of the safety decals applied that were associated with the individual vehicle build options. Vehicles at the facility were reworked to correct the issue. Upon further investigation, McNeilus
found that a change in the processes at the manufacturing facility related to the application of the individual decals had taken place in July 2020, and as a result there was a possibility that vehicles manufactured from that point forward may not include all safety decals. On May 19, 2022, McNeilus
determined that the condition created the potential for an increased risk of injury and decided to conduct a recall to update the vehicles in the field.
