Forest River’s Office of Corporate Compliance was notified by Lippert Components of a recall that was filed regarding a separation of a welded seam at the awning fabric’s coach interface. On October 13, 2022, Forest Rivers Office of Corporate Compliance was notified of an incorrect contact phone number for one of our manufacturing plants. The phone number has been corrected and the new document has been uploaded. On July 8, 2022 Forest Rivers Office of Corporate Compliance filed a recall Part 573 Safety Recall Report 22V-556 Page 16 The information contained in this report was submitted pursuant to 49 CFR §573 On July 18, 2022, Forest River’s Office of Corporate Compliance (“OCC”) was notified by Lippert Components of a scope revision. The same day, OCC began reviewing data provided to OCC by Lippert. On July 20, 2022, OCC initiated a research into each additional manufacturing plant that used the 18’ and under awning. On July 25, 2022, OCC began gathering details from the manufacturing plants that indicated which manufacturing plant and products are affected. On July 28, 2022, OCC was able to identify vehicles affected and is amending the recall.
