Multiple rounds of adjustments and additional not holding reports resulted in replacement of slack adjusters which also loosened. On 10/5 we discovered that the anchor stud was missing a nut and allowing the anchor pin to float freely. Correction of this issue on 10/5 resulted in slack adjuster setting holding as expected. More installed trucks in the field were evaluated (and the nuts torqued) to determine if this was a unique, owner created issue. The discovery of more affected trucks resulted in a determination that the issue needed official corrective action. Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : OEV service techs will contact customers and go to customer site to tighten or replace the Slcak nut. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : No difference Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : After discovery, the corrective action of torquing the nut were determined as the appropriate production action.
