Nexus Outdoors, Inc. Recalls OZ20 Vehicle Deodorizer
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Muskegon, Michigan, October 24, 2022 – Nexus Outdoors, Inc. (“Nexus Outdoors”) announced today it is voluntarily initiating a product safety recall on specific models of the “SCENTLOK” brand OZ20 Vehicle Deodorizer due to poten- tial safety issues. In certain instances, the OZ20 Vehicle Deodorizer can overheat, which may result in the unit melt- ing and/or causing a fire hazard. Nexus Outdoors has reported no injuries or deaths have resulted from this product to date. This RECALL only applies to OZ20 Vehicle Deodorizer products with model numbers 82913 and 4150390, which sold at scentlok.com and numerous outdoors retailers starting in January of 2018. The recalled units can be identified by model numbers printed on the unit (as shown in images below). OZ20 Vehicle Deodorizer MSRP was $39.99.
Customers who own a recalled OZ20 Vehicle Deodorizer unit should immediately stop use. Please contact us by email at [email protected] or by calling +1 (231)-200-1600 (Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM EST). Customers will receive a pre-paid shipping label for returning the recalled unit back to Nexus Outdoors. A new replacement unit will be shipped free of charge back to customers.
