Description of the Cause : Travel trailer weight data was entered incorrectly in the production process which resulted in an inaccurate cargo carrying capacity. During that investigation, it was determined that the cargo carrying capacity label on that trailer was incorrect. A subsequent broader investigation was initiated to determine if there were other coaches potentially impacted. Upon completion of that investigation, the Product Safety Committee met to review the findings and decided that incorrect cargo carrying capacity labels posed a non-compliance with a federal standard 49 CFR 571.110 and 120 and therefore initiated a voluntary non-compliance recall. Winnebago is not aware of any accidents or injuries resulting from this non-compliance. The cargo carrying capacity label (CCC) on the trailer could show an incorrect load carrying capacity, which could lead to an unintentional overloading of the vehicle. Affected Vehicles: MAKE MODEL MODEL YEARS WINNEBAGO Minnie 2021-2022 WINNEBAGO Voyage 2021-2022 Dealers that have stock units impacted by this recall can access the full list of affected VINs sold to their dealership by accessing the Winnebago Dealer Portal. Repair Information: Remedy instructions will be posted to the Winnebago Dealer Portal soon. Owner Notification: Owners will be notified of this campaign by Winnebago Towables by the end of the year. Dealer Responsibility Do not deliver any subject trailer until corrective action has been taken.
