Production Dates : JAN 14, 2021 – MAR 29, 2023 VIN Range 1 : Begin : NR End : NR Not sequential Part 573 Safety Recall Report 23V-307 Page 2 The information contained in this report was submitted pursuant to 49 CFR §573 Description of Defect : Description of the Defect : As stated in Cummins Recall 23E-030, “This fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.” FMVSS 1 : NR FMVSS 2 : NR Description of the Safety Risk : As stated in Cummins Recall 23E-030, “A gasoline leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of Fire.” Description of the Cause : As stated in Cummins Recall 23E-030, “The cause of the issue is an inadequate specification of the fuel hose.” Identification of Any Warning that can Occur : As stated in Cummins Recall 23E-030, “Bystanders may see or smell gasoline.” Involved Components : Component Name 1 : Hose, Fuel Component Description : Gasoline fuel hose between the IMP and the fuel filter Component Part Number : A064P26 Supplier Identification : Component Manufacturer Name : Cummins Inc. Address : PO BOX 3005 Columbus Indiana 43026 Country : United States Chronology : In mid-April Cummins notified Winnebago of recall 23E030. Winnebago initiated a shipment hold to contain affected units in our possession. In addition, an investigation was opened to determine impacted units. Once scope was defined, a notice of defect was filed. There are no known incidents or injuries associated with this defect. Part 573 Safety Recall Report 23V-307 Page 3 The information contained in this report was submitted pursuant to 49 CFR §573 Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : As stated in Cummins Recall 23E-030, “The remedy is to inspect and, if the unit has the defect, to replace the subject fuel hose and associated clamps. If applicable, reimbursement will follow the plan on file with NHTSA. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : As stated in Cummins Recall 23E-030, “The remedy fuel hose has a unique part number A073T925.” Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : As stated in Cummins Recall 23E-030, “Production began with the remedy fuel hose on 02/21/2023.” Recall Schedule : Description of Recall Schedule : As stated in Cummins notification letter, “Cummins will conduct the recall, including notifying owners pursuant to 49 CFR Part 577, performing the remedy, and submitting quarterly status reports to NHTSA.” The dates provided below, reference the dates provided by Cummins in their 573 for 23E-030.
