DTNA determined the said telltale lamps did not meet the flash-rate regulations as required by FMVSS 108. Promptly thereafter, on May 16 2023, DTNA made a determination to conduct a voluntary non-compliance recall on affected Western Star 57X vehicles built within the above-mentioned manufacturing date range that are equipped with the incorrect headlamp parameters.
