Summary
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Tranquility and 2022-2023 Sanctuary motorhomes. The R-bike rack arms may fracture and detach.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the defective components of the bike rack, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 26, 2023. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC’s number for this recall is RC000297.

5/30 – Lippert notified Thor Motor Coach of the issue with the bike rack components fracturing after they received a complaint.
6/23 – Safety committee met and voted to issue a recall.
TMC was notified by Lippert that there has been 1 claim for this issue.

How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : The replacement of certain plastic components inside of the bike rack. These new components improve mechanical strength. Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : 6/12 production quarantined all product and Lippert Components picked up the recall product and replaced it with product containing the new parts.
