Description of the Cause : NR Identification of Any Warning that can Occur : NR Involved Components : Component Name 1 : Seats Component Description : Seats Component Part Number : NR Supplier Identification : Component Manufacturer Name : NR Address : NR NR Country : NR Chronology : In April 2023, while verifying whether instructions for installation over the fuel filler of a seat equipped with seat belts were available, it was discovered that these seats may not comply with Motor Vehicle Safety Regulation number 210, “Seat Belt Anchorages.” Further analysis of the situation was conducted, and it was discovered that vehicles having that configuration had been manufactured and sold. Following conclusion that the seats installed over the fuel filler and equipped with seat belts were probably not compliant with the standard, on August 23, 2023, it was decided to recall the buses that were identified as having this configuration. Micro Bird has not received any report of incident or claim regarding this noncompliance. It will be the responsibility of the bus owners to have their vehicle(s) corrected by a Micro Bird dealer. Owners who have incurred costs to obtain a remedy for the defect addressed by this recall campaign within a reasonable time in advance of notification, may submit their claims to Ecotuned Technologies. Reimbursement, in part or in full, will be provided upon approval of the claim.
