ENSURE USE OF A TAPE THAT WILL NOT LEAVE ANY TRACE OF ANY RESIDUE. DO NOT CAUSE A TRIP HAZARD FOR YOURSELF OR OTHERS. THIS WILL HELP MITIGATE FLOOR SCRATES. FAILURE TO DO SO, OR FLOOR SCRATCHES MAY NOT BE COVERED UNDER THIS RECALL AS A RESULT AND MAY BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUR SERVICE CENTER/DEALERSHIP. STEP 1: OPEN FRIDGE DOOR AND REMOVE SIX TOTAL MOUNTING SCREWS, THREE ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE AND THREE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE (FIGURE 1); STEP 2: REMOVE FRIDGE OUT OF THE CABINET. SLIDE STRAIGHT OUT AND SET ON THE CARDBOARD COVERED COACH FLOOR. FRIDGE WIRES WILL NOT NEED TO BE DISCONNECTED (FIGURE 2); STEP 3: SLIDE AWAY FROM OPENING WITHOUT STRAINING 12V FRIDGE WIRES; STEP 4: LOCATE RAW CLEAT ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE FRIDGE FACE FRAME; • THIS CLEAT IS 3/4″ OF AN INCH THICK AS ATTACHED CURRENTLY; • CAREFULLY USE A PRY TOOL AND REMOVE IT FROM THE LEFT-HAND AND RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE INTERIOR OF THE FACE FRAME OF THE FRIDGE CABINET; • FIGURES 3 & 4; STEP 5: MEASURE THE RAW CLEAT – IT WILL MEAUSRE 3/4″ X 1”; • USE THE 10 – 1 1/2” PAN HEAD WOOD SCREWS – 5 PER CLEAT • INSTALL THE RAW CLEAT TO THE BACKSIDE OF THE FRIDGE FACE FRAME WITH THE 1” SIDE AS THE THICKNESS (FIGURE 6); • INSTALL ON THE LEFT-HAND AND RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE FRIDGE FACE FRAME; • INSTALL FLUSH WITH THE FRIDGE CABINET OPENING; • DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE CLEAT MEASURES 1” THICK (FIGURE 5); STEP 6: SLIDE THE FRIGE BACK INTO THE OPENING. ENSURING TO NOT PINCH THE 12V WIRING. STEP 7: ENSURING THE FRIDGE IS NOW PUSHED BACK, SEATED INTO THE OPENING AND THE FRIDGE FACE FRAME IS NOW FLUSH WITH THE CABINET; OPEN THE FRIDGE DOOR AND INSTALL REINSTALL THE MOUNTHING SCREWS. THREE PER SIDE. STEP 8: ENSURE ALL SIX MOUNTHING SCREWS CONTACTED AND SECURED THROUGHT THE RAW CLEAT (FIGURE 6; STEP 9: TEST FRIDGE FUNCTIONALITY FOR APPROPRIATE USE; STEP 10: CLEAN AREA THOROUGHLY; STEP 11: CLAIM REPAIR CODE. On October 13, 2023, OCC met with the manufacturing plant to discuss the concern. It was identified as the only known vehicle which has had the concern to happen.
