Additional review into mid-October confirmed a change of load ratings from a tire supplier was not captured by our documentation, causing certain combinations of tires and wheel selections to be less than that stated on the 567 label, in nonconformance with 571.120 S5.1.2. October 16, New Flyer’s Safety Committee convened and determined a non-conformance existed, resulting with the filing of this 573 report. Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : New Flyer will provide overlays at no charge and will install them at no charge. In the event a customer installs the labels, New Flyer will reimburse for labor through our normal Warranty system/protocol. ISSUE: Incorrect data was provided to the production clerk responsible for VIN decal creation. The GVWR is incorrect. SUMMARY: A new portion of the VIN decal will be created with the correct GVWR on it. This will be affixed on top of the incorrect information on the existing decal. ITS60843 Ref. Turn the main battery disconnect switch to the “OFF” position. 3. Locate the existing VIN decal on the HVAC enclosure. See Figure 1. Figure 1: Existing VIN Decal Location 4. Carefully center and affix the new decal portion (NF PN 055088) with the correct GVWR information on it directly over the existing decal with the incorrect GVWR information or it. See Figure 2.
