Winnebago
Industries, Inc. (Winnebago
) is recalling certain 2024 Solis motorhomes. The fasteners that secure the sliding seat in the extended position are missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, “Seating Systems.”
Remedy
Dealers will install the missing fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 23, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago
customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago
’s number for this recall is 180.

Chronology :
On or about October 18, 2023 during normal quality inspections, two fasteners were identified missing from the structure used to secure the sliding seat in the extended position. An investigation was opened. The Product Safety Committee met to review the findings of the investigation, at which time it was determined the missing fasteners presented an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety and were non-compliant to FMVSS 207.

is not aware of any incidents or injuries related to the recall condition.
