Summary
REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. (REV) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Type I, III and IX vehicles. In the event of a short circuit or wiring failure, the firmware may fail to shut off the output pin, resulting in overloaded electrical circuits.
Remedy
Dealers will update the firmware, free of charge. All vehicles were repaired by December 14, 2023, therefore no owner notification letters will be sent. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-855-661-9232.

Chronology :
REV Ambulance Gorup Orlando, Inc. (REVO) warranty department received a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB), regarding Equipment recall 23E-084. REVO was notified on December 13th, 2023. REVO conducted an inventory inspection on December 14th and determined that 25 units were affected. All units have been updated to correct the issue, per Weldon’s provided instructions.

On December 14th we identified the affected population and updated the firmware for the affected components. Recall Schedule :
