Descriptive Information : The Recall population encompasses all the ranges made with the defective red LED Backlit knobs. Ranges not involved either have no LED backlighting or have Blue LED Backlights.

Description of the Defect : The LED backlight printed circuit boards (PCB) are not fully coated. The lack of conformal coating in the connection passages between the layers of the PCB can allow liquid from the cooktop surface to accumulate which could result in a short circuit resulting in the failure of the PCB.

Description of the Safety Risk : If the PCB fails, it can be come overheated and the polyethylene cover of the lights can melt and possibly ignite causing a fire.
Description of the Cause : The PCBs did not have the correct amount of conformal coating to properly seal the circuit board from contamination. Identification of Any Warning
that can Occur : The LED backlights of the cooktop knobs can remain on even when they are in the off position. The LED backlights can come on and stay illuminated at random.

Description of Remedy Program : There are two remedies for this issue. The LED Backlights can be removed
from the range or the circuit powering the LED backlights can be cut and properly terminated. The remedy will be done at no cost to the owner.

WARNING
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure they can use the appliance safely.
To prevent electrical shock and/or equipment damage, disconnect electrical power to the system at the main fuse or circuit breaker until installation is complete.
CAUTION
This electrical work must be performed by trained technicians only. Adhere to all local and national codes and ordinances. Take care when securing and routing wires so they do not short. Personal injury and/or property damage may occur.
This electrical work will disable the function of the red, white and oven lights.
1.
Disconnect 12VDC power to the range.
2.
Remove the range main top by firmly pulling up at the front. Lift the main top free of the burner box clips and set aside.
3.
Locate the red and black wires that connect to the coach wiring (Coach wiring color may vary). Cut this wire directly behind the connector using a pair of electrical cutters.
4.
Crimp the Crimp Caps(233759) to incoming 12V positive and negative to prevent lights from being reattached.
5.
Locate and unplug the wires from the light switch on the front of the unit, Then remove the light switch by squeezing the locking tabs and replace with the plug provided in the kit (233754).
6.
Replace the main top by engaging rear clips and pressing firmly on the front latch.
7.
Close the glass cover (if equipped).
8.
Reconnect 12VDC power.

Dear Customer:
This notice is being sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Outdoors RV Manufacturing (ORV) has decided to recall certain Titanium model trailers built from 2022 to 2024 with Suburban ranges that have Red LED backlit knobs. The Suburban stove LED backlight printed circuit boards (PCB) are not fully coated. The lack of adequate coating in the connection passages between the layers of the PCB can allow liquid from the cooktop surface to accumulate which could result in a short circuit resulting in failure of the PCB.
The remedy for this defect is to disable the lights, contact your Dealer to make arrangements to have your unit repaired. The manufacturer of the range has set up a kit to safely disable the lights as well as a service bulletin explaining the repair. This Recall will be repaired by your Dealer at no cost to you. The remedy will take .03 hour to complete. Outdoors RV has sent letters to all of our Dealers, explaining the recall and how they can help our customers get their range repaired.

Titanium Option Trailers built between 2022 and 2024 with 22” Suburban Ranges
Attention Service Department:
It has come to our attention that certain 22” ranges used in our Titanium Option trailers built between 2022 and 2024 may have a faulty LED printed circuit boards. The Suburban stove LED backlight printed circuit boards (PCB) are not fully coated. The lack of adequate coating in the connection passages between the layers of the PCB can allow liquid from the cooktop surface to accumulate which could result in a short circuit resulting in failure of the PCB. These ranges have red backlit LED lights behind the knobs; blue LED lighted ranges are not affected. These lights will be permanently disabled and the circuit properly terminated. Letters have been sent out to all of our customers with a Titanium trailer built in this time frame and they will be contacting you for the repair. If you have an unsold, stock unit on your lot please perform the Recall repair as soon as possible.
What you need to do:
Follow the instructions from Suburban in their service instruction sheet by using their part kit. You can order the kit by calling Suburban at 423-775-2131 or emailing at [email protected] . The attached letters and instruction sheet will provide further information.

Warranty reimbursement:
Use Flat Rate Code 0615-07 for a .3 and file a warranty claim with Outdoors RV using the standard claim form. Please complete and sign, along with the customer signature, the proof of completion letter and send back to Outdoors RV using the postage paid envelope included with the recall notice.
