Summary
Reading Truck Body LLC (Reading) is recalling certain 2022-2024 RM-78 11′ and RM-78 14′ vehicles. The taillight may be incorrectly positioned, exceeding the maximum allowed height. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”
Remedy
Dealers will relocate the taillights, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 6, 2024. Owners may contact Reading customer service at 1-800-458-2226.

repair covered under warranty with no cost to customer. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component :
Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : Tail lamp will be relocated 6″ lower Quality alert was issued and all bodies on ground place in quarantine to not ship.
