Improperly Secured Gas Line May Cause Fire
A propane gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Summary
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Solera, 2024-2025 Forester, and Sunseeker motorhomes. The Liquid Propane (LP) line may not be properly secured, which can cause the line to become damaged and leak.
Remedy
Dealers will install a p-clamp to secure the LP line, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 26, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River’s number for this recall is 34-1780.

Chronology :
On May 2, 2024, Corporate PDI noticed the LP line sagging near the rear tire during an inspection. The zip tie was missing allowing the LP line to droop in front of the rear wheels. On that same day, the plant added a steel P Clamp to secure the line.
On May 10, 2024, the manufacturing plant contacted Forest Rivers Office of Corporate Compliance (“OCC”).
OCC began researching the same day to determine if vehicles outside of Forest River control were affected.
On May 15, 2024, Forest Rivers Office of Corporate Compliance (“OCC”) determined the scope of vehicles affected.
On May 17, 2024, Forest Rivers Corporate Recall Committee voted to recall.

Forest River has decided that a safety defect exists in certain 2024 Solera and 2024-2025 Forester and Sunseeker Class C Motorhome Recreational Vehicles. Forest River is recalling the defective model(s) to ensure the safety of our future retail consumers and your dealership. Forest River is issuing a Stop Sale Notice effective immediately.
Please access your Home Page on Dealer Connect to verify if your Dealership has units in stock that are subject to this recall. Enter the Service Campaign number referenced above in the “Campaign Search” field, click on the “Campaign ID Number”. Next, select “MY VINS”. Not all Dealers have units in stock that are affected by this recall.
DEFECT/NONCOMPLIANCE:
The LP line may not be secured properly.
EVALUATION OF RISK:
If the LP Line is not secured properly, this can lead to a damaged LP Line potentially leading to a leak which may result in a fire, property damage or personal injury.

The remedy for this recall is under development. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available.

Description of Remedy :
Description of Remedy Program : Forest River will provide all parts and labor free of charge to Consumers
and Dealers. An authorized Forest River dealer will need to perform the remedy to install a P Clamp which will secure the LP line properly.

How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component :
Affected Component – LP Line Replacement Component – Steel P Clamp
The LP Line will now be secured properly with a steel P Clamp. This is not a component failure, it is an installation error during manufacturing.
Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production :
On 5/2/2024 a steel P clamp was added to secure the line on all units. Recall Schedule :
Description of Recall Schedule : Forest River has the utmost urgency in our recalls. Forest River will send
suspected VIN numbers to our third party vendor that is licensed to pull data on the current owner of the vehicles (as needed) once a formal NHTSA I.D. is provided. Forest River intends on pushing the mailing out as soon as NHTSA provides any correction(s) and an Acknowledgement Letter.
