Descriptive Information : The basis for this recall population is vehicles equipped with a tandem rear axle and specific relay valve.

Description of the Safety Risk : If this condition exists, the park brake may not be applied, resulting in
inadvertent vehicle movement and possible injury.

May 2, 2024 – REV OEM production found vehicle rear park brake did not engage. KME Engineering and Quality started investigation.
May 9, 2024 – Inspected tandem chassis on campus and contained vehicles as necessary. May 10, 2024 – Final population determined.
May 13, 2024 – Production implemented a quality alert.
May 15, 2024 – Risk assessment completed. Stop ship issued. May 17, 2024 – Escalated the issue to REV Group Management.
May 21, 2024 – REV’s senior leadership approved a voluntary recall for this issue. Description of Remedy :
Description of Remedy Program : The affected vehicles will have the relay valve inspected and replaced as
necessary. This will be covered under the normal warranty process. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component :
Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The remedy would consist of installing the design intended valve. A quality alert was implemented into production on May 13, 2024. Stop ship issued on May 15, 2024. Recall Schedule :
Description of Recall Schedule : KME intends to begin distributing Owner Notifications by the week of
June 17th.
