Emergency Window Blocked by Outdoor Griddle
A blocked emergency exit window can delay occupants exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Summary
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Omni and Magnitude motorcoaches. The emergency exit window could be blocked while outside griddle is in use.
Remedy
Dealers will relocate the emergency exit window, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to begin August 14, 2024. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-500-1020.

Chronology :
6/11/2024 – While reviewing the operation of the griddle option it was discovered that egress from the emergency exit window was partially blocked. A safety committee meeting was conducted the same day, and all agreed to issue a recall. No warranty claims or customer complaints have been received.

Description of Remedy Program : Relocation of the emergency exit window to the other side of the
motorhome will be performed at no cost to the owner. Any reimbursement will follow the general reimbursement plan that is on file with NHTSA. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The remedy is to change the emergency exit window installed to the opposite side of the motorhome. The griddle will no longer be in the path of egress.
Engineering made the change online with production staff on 6/11/2024 the same day it was discovered. Recall Schedule :
Description of Recall Schedule : Thor Motor Coach has the utmost urgency in notifying owners about a
