L.P. REGULATOR INSPECTION & REMEDY INSTRUCTIONS

Disconnect the vehicles’ battery Positive and Negative, disconnect any House battery(s) Positive and Negative, if equipped with a generator ensure it is off and lastly, ensure the vehicle is disconnected from shore power and L.P. Block any tires/wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling and is in a well ventilated area. Failure to do so may result in electrocution, fire or other personal injury, property damage and/or death.
STEP 1: LOCATE THE L.P. REGULATOR IN THE DRIVER SIDE COMPARTMENT, DIRECTLY BEHIND THE FRONT AXLE;
STEP 2: OBSERVE AND NOTE THE DIRECTION OF THE “TRIANGLE DIRECTION”;
STEP 3: IF THE “TRIANGLE DIRECTION POINTS DOWNWARDS (FIGURE 1) STOP INSPECTION AND CLAIM REPAIR CODE LISTED ON THE NOTIFICATION FOR INSPECTION ONLY;

STEP 4: IF THE TRIANGLE DIRECTION POINTS UPWARDS (FIGURE 2), BEGIN REMEDY REPAIR;
STEP 5: REMOVE TWO RETAINING SCREWS FROM REGULATOR BASE;
STEP 6: ROTATE REGULATOR 180°, IMPORTANT: DO NOT KINK ANY HOSE(S)
STEP 7: ENSURE REGULATOR TRIANGLE POINTS DOWNWARD AND REFASTEN TO COMPARTMENT USING THE RETAINING SCREWS, SEE (FIGURE 1);
STEP 8: CLAIM THE REMEDY INCORRECTLY INSTALLED LP REGULATOR.
