Summary
Triple E Recreational Vehicles (Triple E) is recalling certain 2020 Serenity S24CB, Wonder W24FTB, W24MB and W24RTB, and Unity U24CB, U24FX, U24IB, U24MB, U24RL and U24TB motorhomes. The copper propane tubing or the propane hoses for the LP appliances may be twisted and/or kinked.
Remedy
Triple E has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the copper tubing and rubber hose installation as necessary, free of charge. The recall began February 11, 2020. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E’s number for this recall is CA#9599-1.

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic & Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Triple E Recreational Vehicles has decided that certain 2020 Serenity, Unity & Wonder motorhomes manufactured between August l, 2019 & January 22, 2020 fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard
Description of Noncompliance:
The copper propane tubing at the manifold where the LP appliances are connected may be twisted and/or kinked. The propane hose at one of the manifolds may be twisted and/or kinked. In the situation where the twist on the copper propane tubing is too great there may be a split causing propane to leak, a spark could ignite causing a fire, which could cause bodily injury.
To Have This Modification Performed:
We request your assistance to have this Safety issue corrected. Please follow the included information to inspect and/or remedy the copper propane tubing and the propane hoses. For reimbursement submit a warranty application form.

Description of Safety Defect:
The copper propane tubing at the manifold where the LP appliances are connected may be twisted and/or kinked. The propane hose at one of the manifolds may be twisted and/or kinked. In the situation where the twist on the copper propane tubing is too great there may be a split causing propane to leak, a spark could ignite causing a fire, which could cause bodily injury.
To Have This Modification Performed:
We request your assistance to have this Safety issue corrected. Please contact your selling dealer or a RV Service center to have the propane tubing and propane hoses inspected and/or remedied. The recall will be performed at no charge to you. The time needed to inspect is approximately 15 minutes and the repair, if needed is undetermined depending on their findings. If you choose to have this Recall performed by a service center other than your dealer prior authorization is required.
If you had this repair performed before you received this letter, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement for the cost of obtaining a prenotification remedy of the problem associated with this recall.
