Subject: 12″ Magnet Update
In keeping with Dexter’s quest for continual improvement and a stronger product offering, Dexter is pleased to announce changes to the 12″ x 2″ 6K electric brake offering. The update transitions from Dexter’s current elliptical magnet to the very well-known oval magnet design. Dexter has a strong history with the oval design, as it has been successfully used across the 10″ and 12″ product lines for more than three decades.
Building safety into every brake, Dexter proudly manufactures our magnets and other brake components to the highest level of quality and integrity from our facility in the American heartland – Albion, Indiana.
The new 12″ 6K magnet design is completely interchangeable with current magnets, and will be a running change on brakes, axles and kits moving forward. As with all magnets, they should be replaced in pairs – both sides of the axle.
