Summary
Walmart is recalling certain individual Hyper Tough 2 Ton Jack Stands, model 2TJS, sold under part number 0085001232400. The jack stands may not be able to support the rated load without collapsing unexpectedly.
Remedy
Walmart will notify owners, and provide a full refund. The recall began October 16, 2020. Owners may contact Walmart at 1-800-925-6278.

This notice is in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act for NHTSA Recall Campaign Number 20E053000.
Walmart Inc. has decided that a defect relating to motor vehicle safety. exists in certain Hyper Tough Jack Stands Model 2T JS. Notice of this recall can also be found at corporate.walmart.com/recalls, twitter com/walmarthelp, recall§ gov. and on digital monitor displays in select stores.
What is the Condition?
For Hyper Tough Jack Stands Model 2T JS there is a potential for the ratcheting bar to fail, which could result in the collapse of a vehicle being supported by the jack stand, potentially resulting in injury to persons near or under the lifted vehicle.
Impacted Product
This recall is for Hyper Tough Jack Stands with the Model number 2TJS sold in Walmart Stores from November 2019 to July 2020. Similar products contain different model numbers. The model number 2T JS can be found on the product’s labeling above the barcode as shown in the picture below.
