Summary
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Entegra Reatta and Jayco Embark and 2020 Entegra Reatta XL motorhomes. The electronic control center circuit board may be damaged from voltages over 17 volts, causing the components on the board to become damaged.
Remedy
Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional circuit module to the existing component board to provide over-current protection, free of charge. The recall began October 13, 2020. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903518.

LOCATION OF THE G9 MODULES:
Motorhomes with one module – under the bed
Motorhomes with two modules – 1 in the mid bath cabinet and 1 in the basement in the main 12V distribution area
NOTE: PLEASE REVIEW AFFECTED UNIT LISTING AT END OF INSTRUCTIONS TO CONFIRM THE NUMBER OF PART KITS TO ORDER PER UNIT SERIAL NUMBER. Specific Units require two (2)
G9 Protection Module with the Wago terminal block and Washer Nut
INSTRUCTIONS
(2.1) Power off system by turning the Main Power Switch to the off position (located just inside the entry door).
(2.2) remove the external tooth washer nut and existing power cable from the G9 ECM power input stud.
(2.3) Attach G9 Protection Module onto the G9 Power Stud with an external tooth ½” washer nut and torque to 70 in/lbs.
(2.4) Install power cable onto G9 Protection Module stud with a ½” nut provided and torque to 70 in/lbs.
(2.5) Locate existing G9 ground wire connection and disconnect or cut wire.
(2.6a) Splice G9 Protection Module ground wire to the existing G9 ECM ground wire. Strip each ground wire 10mm, insert each wire fully into Wago 222-413 terminal block, move orange tab from the open to fully locked position.
(2.6b) Completed wiring shown.
(2.7) Turn on Main Power Switch and verify that the LED illuminates.

IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL
Dear Valued Dealer:
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
. Jayco has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exits in certain 2019 -2020 Embark, Reatta and Reatta XL Class A motorhomes equipped with a Vegatouch Electronic Control System.
Reason for this recall
Voltages in excess of 17 volts may damage components in the electronic control center circuit board. A damaged circuit board could increase the risk of a fire. This could occur when using a jump pack to start your RV that may be on 24V setting.
Recall Remedy
Requires the installation of an additional circuit control module that will provide over-current protection
