Storage Compartment Box May Catch On Fire
The storage box may melt or catch on fire, increasing the risk of injury.

Summary
Kibbi, LLC (Kibbi) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Vienna and Villagio recreational vehicles. Exhaust temperatures may cause the storage box to melt or catch on fire.
Remedy
Dealers will add a heat shield under the storage compartment box, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 5, 2022. Owners may contact Kibbi’s customer service at 1-574-966-0196.

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Renegade RV has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in certain 2019-2021 Vienna/Villagio vehicles. Upon receipt of this notice contact your local service center to schedule an appointment to have the remedy performed. Renegade RV will execute this remedy (2 labor hours allotted). The service center is to order the part kit (# 4520067) that Renegade RV will supply at NO CHARGE and complete the repair for free.
What is the issue: Exhaust temperatures may cause the storage compartment box to become distorted, melt, or catch on fire.
What is the safety risk: Possibility of storage compartment box distorting, melting increasing the risk of fire.
Identify any warning which can precede or occur: Possibility of smell and/or smoke.
What is the cause: Higher exhaust temperatures when the diesel is performing the regeneration cycle.
What is the Remedy: A heat shield will be added between the exhaust and the compartment box. The shield is secured to an empty mount in the exhaust hanger along with two taps at the leading edge. A secondary exhaust insulator will be added to the exhaust pipe. This repair will be performed free of charge and take approximately 2 hours to complete. Please contact a Renegade RV service center for an estimate of how long they may need your vehicle for this repair.
If you have incurred expense to remedy this issue prior to the date of this notice, you may have the opportunity to obtain reimbursement for that expense. For details, contact us at the number or email address below.
