SAFETY ADVISORY # 22-433 Red Rock Table/Bed Base Keystone is conducting a voluntary RECALL notification campaign in accordance with the National Highway Transportation and Safety Act. It has been decided that vehicles in the recall population were built with a Red Rock brand table/bed base that may have incomplete welds on the hinges of the base. Under certain conditions during use, the welds on the table/bed base can fail leading to an increased risk of personal injury. Models Included: 2022 Cougar Fifth Wheel /Travel Trailers: Models 24RDS, 25RDS, 25RDSWE, 30BHS Serial Number Ranges: NC504669 – NC507563 NL505775 – NL507091 NV504458 – NV508556 Parts Required per inspection: 1 – KRV # 596844 – Table – Leg/Bed Base – 28 1/8” (This part must be ordered by VIN) Tools Required: – Screw gun This Safety Advisory requires a Pre-Authorization & Photograph Note – Check serial number on Key Express to verify the campaign is open. Some vehicles were repaired before they left Keystone. When performing warranty or recall service, please make certain that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used. The remedy is to inspect the table/bed base and replace if it is a Red Rock brand, see Figure 1. Pictures required of base, as identified in Figures 1 through 3 below.
