Jayco

) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige motorhomes. The instrument cluster may fail to display any information when the vehicle is started.
Remedy
Dealers will update the instrument cluster software on the affected vehicles, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco
customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco

vans, has determined that on certain Sprinter
(907 platform) vehicles, the instrument cluster might remain non-functional upon vehicle start up. In the rare circumstance the malfunction occurs, information such as the speedometer, the fuel gauge, indicator lamps and warning messages, as well as acoustic warnings would not be available. The issue would occur upon vehicle start up, and continue during its operations and subsequent ignition cycles. Should the vehicle be driven with the instrument cluster malfunction present, the risk of a crash cannot be ruled out

MBAG is currently aware of 1 confirmed field report in the US received on February 11, 2022. MBAG is not aware of any reported crashes, injuries, or other party property damage related to this issue, worldwide.

Benz about their recall 23V-204 and that we had purchased units that are affected by the recall.
April 10, 2023 Jayco
’s Warranty Incident Review Committee (WIRC) reviewed the incident and elevated it to CPAC. On April 19, 2023 The Corrective Preventive Action Committee (CPAC) decided to elevate the incident to the Safety Steering Committee (SSC). On May 23, 2023 SSC voted to proceed with a pass through chassis recall.

J2534 complaint software for Mercedes-Benz
vehicles has coverage for all required functions associated to reprogramming, initialization, and fault clearing of emission control modules (engine and transmission) fitted to vehicles 2004 Model Year and newer. Additionally all access and functionality required in regard the configuration via SCN Coding and/or CVN Coding is covered.

vehicles is delivered via DVD media which is delivered monthly for the license term of one year upon purchase.
- All control unit software (reprogramming calibrations) is contained within J2534 DVD media.
Terms and conditions

vehicles is purchased in 1-year license increments. During that license term the user will receive an initial software package, license key, SCN/CVN Coding information/access as well as monthly updates via DVD media.

AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz
Sprinter
vans and the Jayco
Motorized Division, have decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain Model Year (“MY”) 2019-2022 Mercedes-Benz
Sprinter
vehicles. This includes certain model year (“MY”) 2020-2021 Jayco
Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige Class C motorhomes. Our records indicate that your vehicle is included in the affected population of vehicles. On certain Sprinter
vehicles, the instrument cluster might fail to display upon vehicle start up. A blank instrument cluster will not show critical information such as speed, the fuel gauge, warning lights and warning messages, as well as acoustic warnings, increasing the risk of a crash. An authorized Mercedes-Benz
Sprinter
dealer will update the instrument cluster software on the affected vehicles. This could take approximately 30 minutes. This service will be provided free of charge. Our records show the following unit is affected by this recall and is part of the current inventory at your dealership. Federal law requires the Recall Remedy be completed on this unit prior to customer delivery. Please confirm the unit serial number requires the Recall Remedy using Unit Management in Jayco
Partners. If you sold this unit recently, please contact the owner immediately to inform them of this recall. In addition, please register this unit through Jayco
Partners. Federal regulations require that any vehicle lessor receiving this recall notice must forward a copy of this notice to the lessee within ten days. Should you have any questions, please contact your authorized Mercedes-Benz
