Inoperative wipers increases the risk of a crash. There have been no warranty claims, field reports or service reports associated with this issue. The windshield wiper arms will be inspected for damage and the arm retention nut will be torqued to the correct specification. Model and Model Years Affected  Certain 2023 and 2024 Mack LR model vehicles manufactured September 9, 2022 through June 12, 2023. Vehicle Quantities  209 vehicles (204 US, 5 Canada) Dealer Responsibilities  The National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act and Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Act require dealers to ensure that all new and used vehicles are free of safety defects and comply with all relevant safety standards at the time of delivery to the consumer.  Dealers should make their personnel aware of the safety recall. In the event that a dealer has a vehicle included in the safety recall in their inventory to be sold, the condition must be corrected before releasing it to a customer.
