- Black Phosphate Finish: Offers superior corrosion resistance.
- Premium Standard Socket: 1/2 in. drive 12mm 12-point standard impact socket for professional and industrial applications
- 12-Point Design: Twelve-point geometry allows socket engagement at every 30 degrees for easier access in tight spaces and on rounded fasteners
- CR-MO Alloy Steel: Constructed from high-strength chrome molybdenum alloy steel for maximum durability and resistance to high-torque impact forces
- Impact Rated: Designed specifically for use with impact wrenches and pneumatic tools for high-torque fastening
- Radius Corner Design: Engineered radius corners grip fastener flats instead of corners, reducing rounding and improving torque transfer
- 4-inch length reaches past cam and rocker assembly to service head bolts
- Includes head bolt sockets for Nissan
, Toyota
, Honda
, and Ford
/GM cars and trucks - Forged from high quality chrome-molybdenum alloy steel for maximum durability
- Thin profile sockets will reach through the access hole and past overhead camshaft
- All Sunex impact sockets meet or exceed ASME specifications
- Premium Driveline Socket: 1/2 in. drive 1/2 in. 12-point driveline impact socket for professional and industrial applications
- 12-Point Design: Twelve-point geometry allows socket engagement at every 30 degrees for easier access in tight spaces and on rounded fasteners
- CR-MO Alloy Steel: Constructed from high-strength chrome molybdenum alloy steel for maximum durability and resistance to high-torque impact forces
- Driveline Clearance: Low-profile 12-point design provides limited clearance access for driveline, transmission, and differential work
- Hand Tool Compatible: Designed for use with hand-operated ratchets and breaker bars for controlled driveline fastening
- Size Include: This set of 1/2-inch drive SAE driveline sockets includes a complete range of 7 consecutive specifications: 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 11/16”, 3/4”. The universal joint head allows for full 360° free angling and rotation, enabling smooth torque transmission even in tight or awkward spaces, so you can tackle complex working conditions with ease.
- CR-MO STEEL: Forged from high-grade CR-MO steel, this socket set achieves an optimal balance of strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Compared to CR-V sockets, CR-MO sockets demonstrate superior fatigue strength and resistance to deformation, significantly reducing the risk of fracture. This results in substantially extended tool life and enhanced operational safety, enabling effortless performance in high-torque applications.
- 12-Point Design: Compared to traditional 6-point tools, the 12-point configuration wraps more securely around bolts and nuts. This ensures even torque distribution, significantly reducing wear on fastener edges and the risk of rounding or slippage. The result is safer and more efficient high-torque applications.
- Laser-Etched Markings & Phosphated Surface: The size markings on this 7-Piece 1/2'' Drive Driveline Socket Set are laser-etched and rolled, ensuring easy reading even in low light. Finished with a manganese phosphate coating, these sockets provide enhanced corrosion resistance and protection compared to the common black oxide finish on ordinary impact sockets.
- Wide Application: Whether you’re working on professional equipment repair, routine home and factory maintenance, automotive servicing and inspection, as well as various general repair tasks, 1/2”Drive Driveline SAE socket set adapts to diverse tasks. Featuring a sturdy storage case, it's easy for organization and storage, or easy to take on the go for repair work.
